Smart Start Logo

The Smart Start Program (SSP) is a support system designed to help you.

Find a community and resources specifically made for first year, first generation students at WSU. The staff and other students in Smart Start are here to help you build foundational skills to succeed in college. You will have a staff member as a mentor who can help you navigate the transition to college life, connect you to resources, and help monitor your academic progress.
